Hipchat Firewall Fail
Update 3-9-2011: Turns out Peer Guardian was somehow blocking port 5222 which is required by the HipChat application. I’ve no idea why any of the other remote apps that I run daily (GotoMeeting, Logmein, Join.Me, SocialCast, Yammer, Trillian, etc) did not have any issues.
Congratulations to HipChat on being the first chat application that I can remember that has ever reported firewall...

Sage Summit Hotel Rates Are Out
The Sage Summit 2011 negotiated hotel rates are out. I’d briefly checked the hotel rates online and the best I could find was about $239. Looks as if the Gaylord National negotiated rate will be $ 219 per night with rooms at Westin National Harbor going for $199/night, Aloft Washington National Harbor - $189/night and Hampton Inn and Suites National Harbor - $180.

Verizon MiFi Constant Disconnect / Reconnect
For $59/mo shouldn’t this Verizon MiFi be able to maintain a connection without constantly disconnecting and re-connecting.
