I have no idea how Facebook is going to manage this - but it will be
cool when it happens.

Right now as you check into a Facebook Place it doesn’t integrate to
an existing page.

Essentially it seems that there could be a lot of duplication. One official Facebook Page. Another Facebook Place. And that’s before
people start creating multiple places that really are pointing to
being at the same location.

For example how would a big site like Disneyworld be handled? Will Facebook allow places like:

- Disney main gate
- Disney monorail
- Disney space mountain It seems as if duplicate place variations could really water down the
value of Facebook Places.

Instead what I really hope happen is that all these checkins can
somehow tie back to one main Favebook Page - even if it means multiple
Facebook Places point to the same Facebook Page. Will be interesting to see how this develops.
